Emerging Leaders Class of 2018

Duncan Kirkwood grew up on the East Side of Buffalo and is currently the Outreach and Recruiting Manager for the Northland Workforce Training Center. Duncan is a strong advocate for the education of Black children and his been recognized nationally for his work in education reform, coalition building and community engagement. He has joined with the Emerging Leaders program to expand his understanding of other social justice efforts and build relationships with other activists looking to empower the community.
